Welcome to the AAPI Intercultural Center Asian Ghost Short Story Contest! 

 

Rules for submission:  

1. Everyone can submit a story!  

2. Stories MUST feature an Asian Ghost. (Sign in with your NOVA account to check out this list and learn about some famous Asian ghosts: AAPI Ghost Stories.docx) 

3. Stories MUST be original. For tips on writing a ghost story, visit this link: ghost tips.docx  

4. Stories should be between 1,500 to 2,500 words. 

5. Your story will be judged on creativity, plot, and overall entertainment.  

6. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be given! 

7. Winners will be announced at the AAPI Ghost Dance on October 26th, 4:30 to 6:30 PM, Annandale Campus Library.

Lastly, don’t forget to attend the Asian Ghost Dance on October 26th featuring Asian food, music by DJ Les Talusan, and lots of spooky fun!
